The Different Styles of Minky Discovery Blankets
When ordering either of the Discovery Blankets you'll need to know a few things. You have the option to pick between the 2 different designs on the front: the Discovery and the ABC Discovery.
Features of the Discovery Blankets
Both Discovery blankets are made from minky and both feature over 200 unique little pictures that are there to find. The words around the edge of the blanket tell you what you're looking for and list every single little image. Some are easy to find like the cowboy boot and some are more hidden like the diapers in the shopping cart. 
Each blanket has its own set of images to find and play. The ABC Discovery blanket features letter and number blocks like the "R is for Robot" block pictured on the photo with the cowboy boot in addition to the hidden images. The ABC Discovery has a green border and backing and the Discovery has a light blue border and backing. Both are gender neutral prints and colors.

Play Throw Style with Long Luxe Backing
Quilted with Short Cuddle Back
Short cuddly backing is the same length of fiber as the front. It's super soft and relatively flat and smooth. Long Luxe backing has longer fibers and more texture to wrap yourself in.
Play throw style is the lightweight version with a more textured back. Quilted Short Cuddle Back is stitched long the lines of every square and has quilter's batting in the middle to give the blanket more weight. If you're planning on spreading this on the floor to use as a game blanket or as a colorful baby play mat for tummy time then I recommend the quilted version because it's the thickest one. Both styles are perfect for cuddling up to watch a movie, playing I spy with my little eye, or keeping boredom away on long car rides.
